By Plane

Direct to Brno: Flights from London and Málaga land at Brno-Tuřany Airport. Small, efficient, no drama.

No direct flight? No problem:

  • Vienna Airport (VIE) – 1.5 hours to Brno by DIRECT bus or train
  • Prague Airport (PRG) – 2.5 hours to Brno by train
  • Bratislava Airport (BTS) – 1.5 hours to Brno by bus

All three airports connect seamlessly to Brno. You'll barely notice the extra leg.

By Train or Bus

Brno's main train station is well-connected to the tango capitals of Central Europe:

  • Prague – 2.5-3 hours
  • Vienna – 1.5-2 hours
  • Bratislava – 1.5 hours
  • Budapest – 4–5 hours
  • Kraków – 4–6 hours
  • Berlin – 7–8 hours

Trains run frequently. Book through ČD (Czech Railways) or RegioJet for comfortable rides with WiFi and coffee.

By Car

Central Europe's road network makes driving to Brno straightforward. GPS will get you here, parking won't break you.

From nearby cities:

  • Vienna: 2 hours
  • Prague: 2–2.5 hours
  • Bratislava: 1.5–2 hours
  • Budapest: 3.5 hours
  • Kraków: 3.5 hours
  • Berlin: 6 hours

Pro tip: Park near the city centre and take tram 9 to Dělnický dům. Saves you the hassle of finding venue parking.
